MANILA, Feb. 10 — The Quezon City government is hosting Camp Pag-ibig 2010, the 17th yearly day camp, for special children, on February 14 at the Balara Filters campsite along Katipunan Avenue.
A mass to be celebrated by Msgr. Dan Sta. Maria will usher in the whole-day camp-gathering.
Among the new activities for Camp Pag-ibig are the “I Love to Read” sessions.
QC Government and DepEd, and the parents’ forum to be highlighted by a lecture and video presentation.
There will also be an expressive art workshop by Gloria N. Recuenco. The theme of Camp Pag-ibig this year is: “Going Beyond Barriers: Bringing People Together.” About 2,000 children will participate in the day camp. (PNA)
