U.S. gospel singer in Manila for "Black History" fete

MANILA, Feb. 24 — American Ray Sidney, a gospel jazz musician from the Los Angeles area in the United States, will perform at Greenbelt 3 Park at the Ayala Malls on Thursday, February 25 at 5:30 p.m.

The concert is open to the public and free of charge.

His visit is supported by the U.S. embassy in Manila, and coincides with the U.S. celebration of Black History Month.

In addition to performing, Sidney will conduct Gospel Music Workshops in several universities throughout Manila. Sidney has been singing Gospel songs since he was five years old. He has performed all over the United States in venues such as BB Kings’ Blues Club and the Sunday Gospel Brunch at the House of Blues in Hollywood and has conducted Gospel Music Workshops in Japan.
