SEOUL, March 9 — The father of South Korean golfer Shin Ji-yai, last year's Rookie of the Year, released a book Tuesday on his daughter's life challenges and basic golf lessons.
Shin Jae-seop's book, entitled "Final Queen: How Shin Ji-yai Soared with Golf," tells the story of his 21-year-old daughter's climb to become a top female player with a total of six LPGA tour titles, including the British Open. It also talks about his family, including the death of Shin Ji-yai's mother when she was 16.
The book has Shin's tips for beginners on reading golf courses, choosing clubs and doing weight training exercises, and offers advice to parents with golfing children. (PNA/Yonhap)
