BUTUAN CITY, June 25 — Caraga region opens its second Small Town Lottery station in Butuan City on Thursday after official inauguration of the first STL station in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte province last week.
PCSO Manager for Special Projects Romualdo Quiñonez officially opened the Butuan STL station in a simple ceremony. The station covers Butuan City and Agusan del Sur.
PCSO personnel and officials from central office and Caraga Region personally conducted the inaugural draw at Butuans first STL station located at Lopez Jaena St., this city.
Among those who witnessed and acted as judges of the inaugural draw were invited guests from private sector such as Agusan del Sur Provincial Board Member Allan Santiago, chairman of the Board of Judges, businessmen Phillip delos Santos, Roquito Jugao, Jr., and Eugene Zabate, members of the board of judges.
The inaugural draw was conducted at 11:45 a.m., officiated by Mr. Dindo Viterbo of PCSO-Quezon City, one of the draw coordinators of the nightly PCSO lotto draws.
After the inaugural draw, proprietors of Lucky DLS Gaming Corp., who owns the franchise of the play station here, led the official inauguration and blessing officiated by Fr. Bob Alaan of the Diocese of Butuan.
PCSO-Caraga Lottery operations manager Gloria Ybañez said Filipinos, particularly people of Caraga Region, will benefit from the revenue of the STL.
She said, the people will benefit from the revenues collected through health services and other charitable projects of PCSO. (PNA)
