BORACAY ISLAND, Malay, Sept. 28 — Michelle Martha Braun, a 21- year old candidate of the Philippines to the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 competition, is now in Korea.
She will try her luck to outwit 71 other contenders coming from other Asian Pacific as the pageant highlights on October 15 at the Final Busan Yachting Center in Seoul South Korea.
In her video presentation posted in www.missasiapacific.tv, Braun introduces herself to have come from the Aklan province where Boracay Island is, one of the top ten best beaches in the world.
"I can relate well to the culture of Korea since many Koreans visit Boracay Island yearly," she said.
Braun as a pageant candidate has a chance of winning other titles such as Ms Photogenic, Best in international national costume, Korea national costume, evening gown, jewelry queen, swimwear, talent, dance queen and Miss Friendship. She also hopes to be included in the top seven finalists.
The official pageant will start on October 1 as the pageant kick off with different activities leading to the pageant night. The super talent competition will be held on October 8 in Jeju island.
National parade competition will also be held on Jeongson City. The organizers said that aside from the finalists, it expects 60 helpers and interpreters; 60 hairstylists; 60 make up artists; 60 security guards; 130 staff; 20 parking attendants; 20 traffic enforcers; 100 combat policemen; two ambulance cars; two doctors, four nurses; ten firemen; ten foreign affairs policemen and will be using around 50 walki talkies.
