Yemen deports 392 Arab nationals

ADEN, Oct. 30 — The branch of Immigration and Passport Department in Aden deported during the period (January – September ,2012) 392 persons of Arab nationalities for violating residency requirements.

At the same time of the year, the security services in the province seized 88 people from illegal African residents.

A report issued by the Dept. in Aden to Saba that the number of arrivals and departures through the main ports of Aden reached during the same period 146, 831 passengers, including 118,327 Yemenis, 28,504 from Arab and foreign nationalities.

The report pointed out that the number of granted residence permits amounted to 1,754 permits in addition to granting 565 entry visas to Yemen and 1,164 exit and entry visas, as well as registering 961 passports of foreigners. (PNA/Saba)
