VIENNA, Nov. 30 - The Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in a statement supported Iran's peaceful nuclear activities, and welcomed the upcoming talks between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency in Tehran for achieving a new modality.
Iranian Ambassador and Permanent representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency Ali Asghar Soltanieh as head of NAM-Vienna Branch read out the NAM statement at the IAEA's Board of Governors meeting Thursday.
At IAEA Board of Governors meeting in Vienna Thursday, IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano said he expected Iran and IAEA would reach an agreement on the new modality plan proposed by Tehran to help resolve the nuclear dispute.
IAEA is fully determined to hold dialogue with Iran as grounds for resolving the issue through diplomatic means are well-prepared, Amano said.(PNA/IRNA)
