Motorcycle-riding gunmen shoot town official, 3 others in Zambo Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA CITY, Oct. 21 (PNA) – The police are conducting a thorough investigation of a shooting incident to unmask identities of four motorcycle-riding gunmen behind the attack that injured a town official and three others in Zamboanga Sibugay province, an official disclosed Monday.

Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) information officer Chief Insp. Ariel Huesca disclosed the incident took place around 9:20 a.m. Sunday in Barangay Buluan, Ipil, capital of Zamboanga Sibugay province.

Huesca identified the victims as Sarabon Bawa, municipal councilor of Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay; Perlito Renie, 35; Rovelie Aclanon, 31; and Arnel Aclanon, 40.

Huesca said the victims were shot and wounded by four men armed with caliber .45 pistols aboard motorcycles.

He said the victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

He said all possible motives are being looked into in a bid to unmask the identities of the suspects. (PNA)
