BACOLOD CITY, Nov 28 (PNA) – The top drug pusher in Western Visayas based in this city was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 (PDEA-6) at his residence in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2 Wednesday morning.

Raphy Duadores, 35, listed number one in the PDEA-6 watchlist, resisted arrest following a buy-bust operation that saw him handing a sachet of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to a police poseur-buyer.

He sustained injuries while attempting to evade the PDEA agents, but he was eventually subdued and was endorsed to Police Station 2 for detention.

Senior Insp. Jovil Sedel, chief of Police Station 2, said the PDEA-6 team led by Investigation Agent 1 John Carlo Daquiado conducted the buy-bust operation at around 4 a.m.

Duadores sold the sachet of shabu in exchange for a P500 marked money.

The PDEA-6 has been monitoring Duadores’ activities for several months now, Sedel said.

The narcotics agents also seized from Duadores one small plastic sachet of suspected shabu, three big plastic sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and a cellular phone. They also confiscated an Isuzu Fuego vehicle with plate number FET 280.

Sedel said Duadores will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.(PNA)
