MANILA, March 28 –A powerful aftershock from last Oct. 15 magnitude-7.2 quake that jolted Central Visayas was felt again in the province of Bohol on Friday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its bulletin, the agency said the aftershock with a magnitude of 3.5 occurred at 2:36 a.m., with the epicenter at four km southwest of Loon in Bohol.
Phivolcs said the temblor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 13 kilometers.
The agency noted that there was no casualty or damage reported from the aftershock.
The magnitude 7.2 earthquake that struck Central Visayas on October 15, 2013, has injured hundreds and damaged many property across the region. (PNA)
