KATHMANDU, Aug. 25 — Nepal's IT company, LABA Nepal, has been selected as one of the top 100 finalists for Red Herring's award.
An IT training service provider in Nepal, the company has been selected as one of 100 best firms from among Asia's thousands of renowned private companies, said company officials.
"It is a matter of pride and pleasure for us as we were selected for Red Herring's Top 100 Asia award, a prestigious list honoring the year's most promising private technology ventures from the Asian business region," LABA said in a statement.
The Top 100 winners will be officially announced at a special awards ceremony on Aug 27 in Hong Kong.
LABA, established in 2009 as an advanced IT training service provider in Nepal, offers blended IT learning solutions comprising Classroom training, onsite training and e-learning directly from the global vendors, the company's website says.
It has been working in collaboration with some prestigious global organizations including Microsoft, IBM and Cisco, the statement said. (PNA/Bernama)
