5.4-magnitude quake hits 102km W of Abra Pampa, Argentina

BEIJING, Feb. 24 — An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted 102km west of Abra Pampa, Argentina at 0513GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 191.56 km, was initially determined to be at 22.773 degrees south latitude and 66.6946 degrees west longitude. (PNA/Xinhua)
