MANILA, Feb. 24 — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake jolted Baguio City on Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 7:14 a.m. with its epicenter traced 13 kilometers southeast of Baguio City, which also felt Intensity 4.
Phivolcs recorded Intensity 4 in La Trinidad, Benguet while Intensity 3 was felt in Itogon, Benguet. Intensity 2 was felt in Dagupan City and Intensity 1 was recorded in Palayan City.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, has a depth of 13 kilometers.
The agency said there were no casualty or damage reported and aftershocks from the quake are not expected. (PNA)
