MANILA, March 26 — A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck the province of Sarangani on Thursday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
In its bulletin, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 2:25 p.m. with the epicenter traced 14 kilometers northeast of Kiamba town in Sarangani.
The tremor, which was tectonic in origin, had a shallow depth of 19 kilometers.
Phivolcs said there was no casualty or damage reported from the temblor and no aftershocks were expected from it. (PNA)
